Great Park Balloon Ride
I took my daughters to ride the free balloon ride at Orange County’s Great Park. I thought I could get a good picture of them standing in front of the balloon. Unfortunately after we landed they went CRAZY. They could not/would not stand still with each other. At best they would tackle one another. This was the best I could do. You can see in the picture that “A” is on her way to tackling “L”.
Maybe some other day I’ll get a chance to take the picture I hoped to get. The girls did well in the balloon. They didn’t at all get scared by the heights. The balloon went much higher than I thought it would. When we reached what I thought was our maximum height, the operator said “Okay, that’s halfway up”. The view was only scary if you looked straight down. It was much scarier than being on a tall building because it felt like you were standing on a boat.
